WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!

That's right, as of yesterday, we are officially homeowners (well, RV owners)!!!

This is our lovely new to us "truckhouse" as heath likes to call it:

It's a 1980 Toyota Sunraider. Really small, probably about 17-18ft and its perfect! It runs really well and we think its going to be amazing! The gas mileage should be fantastic, which is hard to find in Class C RVs.

The only real issue we run into is some interior issues! I'm super excited to start picking out new fabric and reupholstering things! It has some amazing green shag carpet, which obviously has to stay! Heath is working on cleaning it out today! Luckily, we have 6-7 months to get it just the way we want it!

We will be posting new updates as we go! Should be a fun process!

Here are a few more pictures of the new truckhouse!

These arent great pictures, but it was dark when I finally got home to see it. This is it. This is where we will be living. We have a couch and table, sink, 3 burner stove, oven and quite a bit of cabinets. Microwave will go, we wont need it. **Please notice the green shag carpet. Perfect**
This is the sleeping area, which is above the cab of the truck! Obviously, it needs some cleaning and some work. But, we are in love with the windows that go all the way around. Those hideous curtains are covering them for now...
This is the fabric thats on the bed cushions. I think I am actually a pretty big fan of it, so it may stay. Then again, I may decide I hate it and it needs to go. Only time will tell! (it does go with the green shag carpet though)
There used to be a preacher who lived in it, so we have this awesome picture hanging inside immediately as you walk in, haha!
Another view of the outside. We also have a ladder on the back so we can climb up top and also store things up there!

Everything feels so official now that we actually have our new house, and I couldn't be more excited!
It needs some work, but it will be worth it!

Love!

The Decision

Back in July, Heath and I took a 10 day road trip. We went to Badlands National Park in South Dakota. Next, we had to make a stop and see Mt. Rushmore for the first time! Finally, we made our way to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Let me just say how incredible this little road trip was! Don't get me wrong, I love Nashville and I think its beautiful, but its always nice to venture out of your box and experience things you have never gotten to experience. With that being said, once we returned to Nashville and our normal every day lives, we made a decision that we wanted to leave it all behind and go on our very own adventure. So, starting in July, we will be quitting our jobs, moving out of the apartment and will begin traveling the country in our very own RV.   So far we have no set travel plans. We would like to keep it that way for the most part.
